Interview in Eenadu- Karimnagar district edition
In the same month of the project announcement i got a call from Mr. Venu, a reporter from Jagtial division who said that he would like to come down and interview me. I said yes and the day he came i was down with fever. Inspite of me being not well i sat for the meeting and provided him the photgraphs he needed. Thus on 28th January 2008 this interview was covered in the district edition of leadingTelugu Daily -EENAADU.
My first interview ever for a newspaper!
In 2004, in Hyderabad, Mr. Nageshwar from EENADU met through common friends and he decided to interview me after finding out that by then i worked with some of the best directors in Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad as a storyboard artist. It was for the Eetharam section of EENADU main edition, Hyderabad. I was surprised initially but later on it proved unavoidable. My colleagues Vinda and Bhasker too were being interviewed. Since i was with beard then, he asked me the latest photograph of me so particularly went to a studio in nagarjuna circle and got my photo shoot done. The day it appeared in the paper i was joining a new film a a storyboard artist cum associate director so the timing was wonderful. The whole day i received surprise calls and friends and well wishers congratulated me! It was a different experience altogether.
My first felicitation!
After ' Baalabharati' my 3rd short film for Sapthagiri channel, it was quite regular that the reporters used to track my project progress but a day came where i was felicitated for my genuine unertakings of village subjects in my films. ai met Dr. Boinapally Venkata Ramarao garu who stays in cinare bhavan in Karimnagar. Mr. Abdul Mannan, an environmentalist and a painter, whom i met during kafiso film fest in February 2008 in Karimnagar, introduced me to Sri Boinapally who saw my film Baalabharati and encouraged me in my efforts. He then invited me for his Birthday celebrations on 2nd September 2008 and felicitated me among others. He also awarded me a felitication letter in which he gave me a 'birudu' saying 'uttama kalaa Darshaka'. This event inspired me and enthused me to make progress towards my goal of making good films for children with rural background.
